Plugin Installation via WordPress

After the purchase you will be able to download the plugin .zip file.
When done, you should see wpgroupchat.zip (zip file name can be changed from version to version).

Please, follow the steps below to install WPGroupChat plugin.

Step 1 - Login to your WordPress Dashboard.

Step 2 - Go to Plugins > Installed plugins. Click Add new button, located at the top of the screen. (see screenshots below)





Step 3 - Click on Upload button at the top of the screen.

Step 4 - Choose wpgroupchat.zip and click on the Install Now button..



Step 5 - Wait while the plugin is uploaded and installed , when done Activate the WPGroupChat plugin.

Step 6 - Congratulations! You are ready to use our WPGroupChat WP Plugin.

Common Plugin Installation Problems

"Are you sure you want to do this?"
If you get the "Are you sure you want to do this" message when installing wpgroupchat.zip file via WordPress, it means you have an upload file size limit. Install the plugin via FTP if this happens, or ask your hosting company to increase the limit.

Missing stylesheet file
If you get an error saying that the stylesheet is missing, then you have uploaded the wrong folder. Please check that you are uploading the wpgroupchat.zip within the Plugin Files folder.

Plugin Installation via FTP

If you are going to install the plugin using FTP, you will need an FTP Client, such as FileZilla.

After the purchase you will be able to download the plugin .zip file.
When done, you should see wpgroupchat.zip (folder name can be changed from version to version).

Please, follow the steps below to install WPGroupChat plugin via FTP:

Step 1 - Log into your hosting space (server) via FTP client.

Step 2 - In extracted archive folder, find wpgroupchat folder

Step 3 - Upload the wpgroupchat folder to your server in path .../wp-content/plugins/

Step 4 - The uploaded path should be like this: .../wp-content/plugins/wpgroupchat/



Step 5 - Login to your WordPress Dashboard and go to Plugins > Add new > Upload plugin > Choose file > Install now and activate the WPGroupChat plugin. (see screenshots below)

Autoresponders


Users have to add their email ids in order to login. You can configure an Autoresponder and generate leads.

Click on the Autoresponders tab. Here you set your Autoresponder settings. You can set the default autoresponder and campaign list. After the selection, click on the SAVE button to save the settings.


Click on th Autoresponder and it'll ask to configure. Enter the required parameters and you are ready to use it.

Graphic Settings

Here you can change the border, background and font color of chat, body button & panel. After the selection, click on the SAVE button to save the settings.
You can also RESET the graphic settings.


There are two different styles available, as seen below:

Restricted Words

Here you can restrict your users from writing abusive or offensive words. Add the words in the editor area along with the warning message that you want to show.

Other

Click on the Other tab. Here there are various settings provided to tweak user away timings, logging them out if away for specific duration, enabling attachment options, hiding powered by links etc.
